The Foyer Oxford building at Central’s Leederville campus has won a prestigious development award.
Perth’s largest, purpose built development for homeless youth was named the State’s Best Sustainable Development for 2014 at the Urban Development Institute of Australia Awards last week.
The win acknowledges the wide ranging social, economic and environmental sustainability features that were incorporated in the building.
The Foyer Oxford building sits within Central’s Leederville campus and has been designed to complement the character of the existing buildings. It is a unique, hybrid, urban campus building completely new to Perth.
The building was developed by a consortium comprising Central, Foundation Housing Ltd and Anglicare WA.
